OTOCare OPC (“OTOCare,” “We,” “Us”) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of privacy and data protection, and are committed to comply with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (“Privacy Laws”). We respect the privacy of our Users and expect all individuals interacting with our Platform to adhere to the same. We understand the importance of protecting personal data in the home car care servicing industry and implement strict measures to safeguard all collected information. Terms herein used shall have the same meaning as those defined in the Privacy Laws.
This Privacy Policy explains: what Personal Information we collect; ii) how we collect, hold, use, and disclose that information; and iii) the purposes of such collection, holding, use, and disclosure.
This Privacy Policy applies to all Users of the OTOCare platform, whether mobile or website, (the “Platform”) in their use thereof and to the processing activities conducted by OTTOCare in the Platform. It does not apply to any third-party websites or products or services that may be accessed through the Platform. Users should review the privacy practices of any third-party organization before providing information.
By using our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Privacy Policy, and, where necessary, you have signified your consent to the processing of your Personal Information.

Ways We Collect Your Data
We collect Data in several ways, including but not limited to the following:
- User Registration: When you create an account on the Platform, we collect your Personal Identification Information.
- Booking a Service: When you request a service at home or on the road, we collect service location, vehicle details, service preferences, and assigned service provider information.
- Payment Processing: When you pay for a service or are paid (if you are a service provider), we collect billing details, transaction history, and payment method data, such as credit card or digital wallet information (encrypted for security).
- Customer Support: When you contact customer support, we may collect details of your inquiry, communication history, and any supporting documents or images you provide.
- User Interactions & Feedback: If you rate or review service providers, participate in surveys, or engage with in-app chat features, we collect your comments, ratings, and other input.
- Device & Usage Data: When you interact with the Platform, we collect device details (such as IP address, hardware model, OS version) and usage data (such as app features used, browsing activity, and transaction logs).
- Location Data: When using location-based services (such as real-time tracking for on-road assistance), we collect your GPS location to assign the nearest service provider.
- Marketing & Promotions: If you opt into marketing communications, we collect your engagement with promotional content, discounts, and special offers.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data storage and secure connections as well as regular security assessments and audits.
We will take reasonable precautions—including legal, organizational, and technical measures—to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, use, loss, or disclosure. Access to your Personal Information is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis, and they are obligated to maintain strict confidentiality.
However, please be aware that no method of online data transmission is entirely secure. While we implement stringent security measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted over the Internet. Any such transmission is at your own risk.
We will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. Once the data is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
Data may, however, be retained for an additional specified period, if required, for the benefit of the data subject. Any information that is declared obsolete based on the internal privacy and retention procedures of the Company shall be disposed of in a secure and legal manner.
Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or lease your Personal Information to third parties. We may disclose your personal data only in the following circumstances:
- Other Users of the Platform: We may share your personal data with other Users of the Platform whom you may choose to interact with, such as Service Providers, whose services you may avail through the Platform. If you are a Service Provider, your information will likewise be shared to a User whose Work Order was accepted by you..
- Third-Party Service Providers: Such as IT security providers, data hosting service providers, under strict confidentiality agreements.
- Payment Partners: Payment partners are integrated into the Platform through API channels through which you may choose to pay for the services availed of. When you choose a payment channel, the payment partner may collect information from you to process your payments. When you do so, you undertake to read and understand the payment channel’s Privacy Policy to know how they process your Personal Information.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose your personal data if required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process, such as responding to a subpoena or government request.
Your Rights
Users may exercise the following rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173):
- The right to access and request a copy of your personal data.
- The right to correct any inaccuracies in your personal
